Sport nutrition is key for endurance athletes. Try these protein bites for a balanced hit of protein, carbs, and healthy fats. These will satisfy your sweet tooth without causing inflammation. Quick to make, and easy to eat on the go!

Pro Tip: these are an excellent fuel source to eat while on the bike!

1/4 cup Collagen Peptides

1/3 cup Coconut Flour

1/4 cup Peanut Butter

1/4 cup Pumpkin Puree (not pumpkin pie filling, this is loaded with sugar!)

1/4 cup Maple Syrup or Honey (or a mix of both!)

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

1 tsp Ground Ginger

1/2 tsp Nutmeg

1 pinch Sea Salt

In a bowl, add the dry ingredients and stir well to combine.

Add the peanut butter, pumpkin, syrup and spices to the dry ingredients, and mix well. A dough consistency ball will form.

Roll into 1 inch balls.

Pro tip: wet your hands with water before rolling so that the dough doesn’t stick to your hands!

Refrigerate for 15 minutes, and enjoy!
